ORYX Rent a car proudly bears the label Safe Travels and Safe Stay in Croatia. Safe Stay in Croatia is a national label representing the highest level of health and security protocols in tourism. It's being awarded to businesses in the tourism sector by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports since 2021.
We still believe that there are safe destinations and a safe way to travel, and we are one of them! The Safe Travels label means that we have adopted the highest health and hygiene standards. Also, the Safe Stay in Croatia label lets you know that ORYX Rent a car fully operates according to the current recommendations of the World Travel and Tourism Council and the Croatian Institute of Public Health. Prescribed epidemiological measures and health safety recommendations have been taken at all our offices and in all our vehicles.
In April 2020, ORYX Rent a car introduced epidemiological protocols for dealing with customers and vehicles, and these protocols are changing according to new guidelines of the Institute of public health. Every vehicle in ORYX Rent a car has been thoroughly cleaned outside and inside before renting, and it is additionally covered with a protective foil in all places that come into contact with the driver (steering wheel, gearbox). Protective gloves, masks and disinfectants are available in the branches, and for a pleasant ride and a great time with each rental you get a disinfectant spray.
We follow the recommendations of mutual distance in indoor and outdoor spaces. Thus, in smaller branches, a maximum of 1 client can be present inside, while in larger branches we follow the instructions on a minimum distance of 2 m between clients, and after each client all surfaces are wiped with disinfectant.
